Different types of fungal infections are : tinea versicolor, ringworm of groin(tinea cruris), ringworm of scalp (tinea capitis),ringworm of body (tinea corporis),athelete’s foot(tinea pedis) fungus of nails (onychomycosis), intertrigo ( infections in fold of body)

Symptoms

  • Skin changes, including red and possibly cracking or peeling skin

  • Use of potent steroids may lead to infections of skin
