Mechanism of Action
Radio-frequency skin tightening is an aesthetic technique that uses radio frequency (RF) energy to heat tissue and stimulate subdermal collagen production in order to reduce the appearance of fine lines and loose skin. By manipulating skin cooling during treatment, RF can also be used for heating and reduction of fat.
Lift, Tone and Tighten your Skin with new and innovative treatment of RF Skin Tightening using advance Radio Frequency Technology, heat is delivered to the skin accelerating the production of collagen and elastin with immediate lifting and tightening for a healthier looking skin.
It is recommended to have a course of four sessions (once every three to four weeks) for facial tightening. In our BOOTCAMP program with our combined therapy treatment, a patient will often receive six treatments over the course of six weeks with recommendation of one treatment per four weeks thereafter.
Lasers tend to be used to remove the top surface layers of the facial skin; this treatment is effective for wrinkles and fine lines, but leaves little to be desired in terms of skin tightening. As non-invasive treatment, Ultherapy uses the power of ultrasound energy to penetrate the deepest levels of the dermis
Radiofrequency in FDA-cleared non-surgical tissue tightening is highly controlled for your safety. An excellent safety profile on RF procedures for skin tightening, whether performed for vaginal rejuvenation, facial skin tightening, or body contouring have been established in Clinical studies.
In general, non-surgical skin tightening procedures work by using targeted energy to heat deeper layers of skin, which stimulates collagen and elastin production and gradually improves skin tone and texture. Some treatments also affect fibrous tissue to help smooth cellulite.
Laser skin tightening is a safe and painless way to rejuvenate the appearance of skin in any area of the body. Those who undergo laser skin tightening experience very few side effects and these are most often minor inconveniences in the form of redness or minimal and temporary swelling.
A treatment session can be expected to last about 10 - 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated, sessions are usually recommended once every 4 weeks with an average of 6 - 10 sessions in a treatment program, followed by ongoing maintenance to prolong the results.
A good moisturizer can plump up your skin, making fine lines and wrinkles less noticeable. A lotion or cream available in market place cannot penetrate the skin deeply enough to do this. Still, you may see a small change if a product contains a retinoid, such as retinol, which can help your body make more collagen.
High frequency (HF) is the ITU designation for the range of radio frequency electromagnetic waves (radio waves) between 3 and 30 megahertz (MHz). It is also known as the decameter band or decameter wave as its wavelengths range from one to ten decameters (ten to one hundred meters).
RF Wireless Technology. A radio frequency (RF) signal refers to a wireless electromagnetic signal used as a form of communication, if one is discussing wireless electronics. Radio waves are a form of electromagnetic radiation with identified radio frequencies that range from 3 kHz to 300 GHz.
